The Serbian Alphabet.......
Such a hard language...
The reason Ana doesn't have an accent is because Serbian doesn't have a "set" way to say all the letters... Like, you know how there's a "French accent" and a "Spanish accent"? There is no "Serbian accent". So if a Serbian spoke English it'd be impossible to tell that it wasn't their mother language!
Having 30 letters in the alphabet is crazy
Serbian is built on the "Write as you speak, and speak as you write" foundation, so each letter actually represents its own sound. (Hence the number of them)
Serbian is also kind enough to have two alphabets!
This is Latin Serbian:
A B C Č Ć D Dž Đ E F G H I J K L Lj M N Nj O P R S Š T U V Z Ž
As you can see, the different accent marks added to the letters create a new sound. Causing that letter to be treated as its own separate letter!
It's gonna be hard to learn Serbian...
But I'll do my best and update on my adventures through this.... rather loud, language XD 'Till then, ZDRAVO!
